Environment


Koryo high school is in the northwest part of Yamanashi, roughly at the center of the Japanese archipelago, and is located some 80 miles west of Tokyo.
The prefecture is surrounded by steep mountains on all sides with an abundance of nature.
The school enjoys an exceptionally good environment for academic, sporting and cultural activities in the highland area of Yatsugatake mountains.


Students

4 classes for each year; 30 students in each class; Total number of students is 360 (at maximum)
About one-third of the students come from our junior highschool,
about one-third from other junior highschools in the prefecture of Yamanashi,
and about one- third from other areas including foreign countries.
All the students are aiming to enter colleges, and are offered an environment suitable for that purpose.
